Location: It is located in Pudong New District, about 30 kilometers (about 18.6 miles) away from the downtown area and about 40 kilometers (about 24.9 miles) from Hongqiao International Airport.

Brief intro: Covering an area of more than 40 square kilometers (about 15.4 square miles), Shanghai Pudong International Airport is definitely one of the most famous and important airports throughout China. More than 800,000 square meters (about 197.7 acres) parking apron and 76 gate positions can show you its significance.

The entire construction of Pudong International Airport consists of the main building and long terminal concourses both of which are connected by two passages. 13 baggage transfer belts for arrivals and 28 boarding bridges and other attached service, like shopping area, restaurants, etc. can bring you great convenience.

For Shanghai Airlines, the transfer hall can be found outside of Gate 14, Domestic Arrivals

There are bookstores, drug stores, etc. for your convenience. Still shops near Gate 15- Gate 20 International Departures Restricted Area are off-tax.

Restaurants
Dozens of restaurants can be found within Shanghai Pudong International Airport. The famous ones are Canglang Ting Restaurant, Hong Fangzi Western Food Restaurant.
